DENTAL CARE
Regular professional dental cleaning is important to the maintenance of your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe dental ultrasonography to clean each tooth thoroughly (above and below the gumline). Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface that is more resistant to plaque buildup.
We use safe anesthetic agents and commonly give intravenous fluids while the patient is undergoing dental cleaning and other surgeries. We also offer a pre-anesthetic exam and blood work as part of our routine dentistry.
See our Pet Dental page.

Radiographs (x-Rays)
X-rays help our veterinarians evaluate musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.
ULTRASOUND
Ultrasound is a non-invasive technology using sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available.
See our Ultrasound page.
SURGERY
We offer advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Our well trained veterinary and technical staff ensures the safest, most efficient procedures. Some of the technology we use includes: heated surgery tables for greater comfort and better recovery, ECG, oxygen saturation monitors, blood pressure and respiration monitors. We monitor your pet extensively during and after the surgery and we provide take-home pain relief as needed.
See our Anesthetic Protocol page.
PAIN MANAGEMENT
Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.
BEHAVIORAL issues
Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. Sometimes pain and stress are manifested by destructive or or inappropriate behavior. Ask our veterinarians about behavioral concerns in your dog or cat.
By working with you and observing your pet, we may be able to provide treatment options for such behavior problems as separation anxiety, aggressive and compulsive disorders.
NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING, Prescription Food and quality pet food

INTERNAL MEDICINE
We cover all areas of internal medicine, including cardiology, ophthalmology, neurology, dermatology, gastroenterology, orthopedic surgery, oncology and endocrinology.

annual WELLNESS exam and IMMUNIZATION
The Annual Wellness Exam provides an overall physical indication of your pet's health. We recommend that all pets over 8-years-old be examined by a veterinarian every year. The comprehensive physical examination measures all major body systems and vital statistics including, cardiac health, respiration, urine, weight, skin, coat, teeth, ears and eyes.
Internal parasite testing (deworming and flea control) and vaccination are also recommended.
Blood and urine testing are measured in our veterinary laboratory. Results are often available the same day.
Call our hospital for more details.
DAY CARE For Hospitalized Patients
While your pet is in the hospital, our staff frequently check their health status and comfort levels.
As the hospital ward cages are within our main treatment area, we can monitor and examine your pet throughout the day. Many pets while in the hospital enjoy the human interaction, and they often watch our staff and clients move around the large treatment room.
